My Career
Over the past 15+ years, I lived in five countries and covered incredible news stories as an editor with some of the most reputable media agencies in the world. From the global financial crisis and the emergence of Bitcoin, to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight 370, I worked on several stories that shaped the early 21st century.
Working in communications, I scripted senior executives in Asia and North America at an influential technology company and then helped one of the world's most admired financial institutions strengthen its brand awareness.
Now with Bloomberg Media Group, I help clients from a range of industries tell stories that matter.
My Passion
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) plays a central role in my life. I fell in love with the sport when I took my first lesson in 2010. Like all great sports BJJ knits skill and strategy together with courage and tenacity. The more I learned, the more I realized how little I knew. Twelve years later that feeling continues to provide straw for the fire and push me in my pursuit of knowledge.
In 2019, I competed frequently. Those competitions brought me to Japan, Australia, the U.S. and beyond. I earned double gold victories in the Masters 2 brown belt division three times, secured the #1 ranking globally and was awarded my black belt.
Today, I continue to train with tremendous passion and a drive to share that with anyone who wants to learn.
